So in reality Capcom and other companies are throwing paying customers under the bus, so they can get the few percent of pirates who are impatient. those people tend to be well stocked on games, to them waiting a few weeks doesn't matter. the majority of them never buy SP games and B. Ignoring that people who pirate games aren't a lost sale anyway, since A. It's a horrible piece of tech that has no use other than ensure investors that sales are 'protected' during the time where it matters. Denuvo doesn't protect sales and it doesn't help anyone. RE8 not only had Denuvo on launch, but also a second anti-tamper that caused many issues. So pirates played for free and had the better experience. Wanna know what happened? Game was insta-cracked and then Capcom updated RE2 to include Denuvo again. In case of RE2 Capcom even leaked the DRM-less. That's not true? RE8 was cracked like a few weeks after launch.
